Who: MVG's Lost In Space Cache Campout

When: Friday August 10th - Sunday August 12th 2007

Where: CeasarsCreek State Park

Come and continue the theme of Lost in Space from our summer picnic.
Tentative Schedule:
Friday - Arrival and setup
Crackerbarrel by the campfire 9:00 pm

Saturday 7:00 - 8:00 am Coffee and chat
Caching on your own or as a group throughout the day
6:00 Potluck dinner
after dark - Perseids Meteor Shower at the beach

Sunday - time to say goodbye, pack up and head home


Base Camp will be site 56 - You can reserve a site for yourself here : Ceasarcreek State Park




Also - for those just wanting to stay
overnight for the meteor shower - the park will be offering free tent
camping at the beach on Saturday night. Here is a little information
on the free camping at the beach: August 11 Meteor Shower Campout
Caesar Creek (SW) 7-11 PM at the main beach.




Bring your lawn chair and blanket and watch shooting
stars brighten our summer skies. Programs include games and crafts, reading
starmaps and viewing planets through telescopes.

Over the years we have had
great fun at our summer Picnics. Here are just a few of over 600+
pictures taken of the fun we have had at these events! So come on
out and keep the fun alive and going. Also to share some time and
remembers those we had fun with over the years and will never forget them!
