Multi-part Cache; first part Virtual, decipher clues to get final coordinates of second-part conventional cache
A Handful of Wildcats and a couple of Navy Brats ventured out together in unified hope of memorializing our main man’s may-time matrimonials. Join Team Wedding Cachers in a virtual replay of the events that brought us together in celebration.
The Rehearsal Dinner:
Park at N39 33.058 W076 05.385. Enjoy the scenic view of the Susquehanna. Up the hill, look for 2 Scottish children playing on a jungle gym. You seek the date of their establishment’s establishment***. For the after-party, pay a visit to the Irish neighbors residing caddy-corner to the Scots. Take notice of the 3 digit number above the door on the way in. If you choose to imbibe in some of the local fare, remember to toast to our health and adventures. Salud!
***UPDATE 8/4/11 - I've received a few emails recently that the Scot's establishment date has been taken down. The # is still 'discoverable', but just in case; Until I hear that it's been replaced, other notable events from that same year: - U2's "Joshua Tree" released, Mathias Rust makes a notable "Red" landing, 19OCT is dubbed "Black Monday"***
Check In:
Rush to the B&B where our newlyweds plan to spend their first night together. Head 1 block west to the street named for the Northern Army, then 4 South to its intersection with the liquor distilled in Kentucky (.3-.4 miles). Find the address of Spencer’s Precious Metallic Mansion (hint-an even hundred). Then throw on your formal caching attire and get ready to head to the ceremony. Here’s the directions…
The Big Event:
The Ceremony is being held at N39 AA.ABB W076 CC.DDD. The end result should be roughly 2.1 Miles SW of the B&B’s location at a Park named for the Ugly Duckling’s final adolescent outcome. Daylight hours only and approach from within the park, as the Wedding Cache’s resting place borders on private land. Should be a lovely stress-free walk, careful to avoid the curious gaze of muggles. Cache is a small ammo can. Adios, fare winds, and following seas!
