This is one of 8 caches placed around our town as a part of a school project. We are trying to see how many visitors each cache gets in one year and how far the travel bugs we released will travel.
Depending on the season, you have the chance to see some pretty spectacular wildlife. Make sure to read the information posted across the road. A portion of it reads:
".. acres dedicated to the annual production and harvest of wild game species. Situated between the Tieton River and the Wenas Valley and bisected by the Naches River...insures a lasting and diversified benefit to game species, hunters, fishermen, campers, and tourists...insures permanent populations of elk, deer, chukar partridge and grouse. In addition, there are 20 miles of streambank access for fishermen."
