Geocache Description:

Please join your fellow geocachers "Down By The Lake"

We have Picnic Pavilion #8 reserved at Bald Eagle State Park for June 30, 2007, so please join us for a great day filled with fun for all ages. The festivities will start around 1:00 and you are welcome to stay up until dark. We will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs (w/ rolls and condiments) for all. Please bring along something to share. Let me know in the logs what you are bringing and I will keep a tally so we can get an idea of what to expect.

There are lots of things to do at Bald Eagle State Park like boating, fishing, swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, camping, and of course geocaching. There are several quality caches right at the park (including some recent additions) and some more a short distance away. As of today (6/5/07) there are campsites availible if you would like to make a weekend of it.
