This cache needs a new container, and I won't be able to get there this side of November, so unless someone else maintains it I will have to Archive it.
If you are planning to search for it, please consider taking a container and new log book with you on your hunt.
Andrew (Aushiker) placed a great cache which was enjoyed by a couple of dozen cachers for over 18 months. I was happy to adopt the cache rather than see it archived. Thanks for a great cache Andrew.
The cache is a 1-litre Klip-lock container. The cache is located on the Alan Anderson Park Walk which is described as a 5 km walk trail. My track log suggests a length of 2.06 km. Either way an easy walk following the blue trail markers. You are encouraged to "take 30" and complete the trail. While here why not find the enjoyable cache, Pepper? Its on your way.
The Swan Valley and Perth Hills Trails Discovery Guide (2005) states that "Alan Anderson was the founding member of the History Village in Kalamunda during the 1960's and 1970's. He was a keen water colourist and liked to pain railway scenes. These paintings can be viewed in the Kalamunda History Village."
When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find. Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in your log and do log them online.
If you wish to make any comments please post a log or email me. Please log your find in the cache and on Geocaching.com. Please no hints or multiple logs, but please do leave a photo or two. Phone a friend is allowed, but hopefully not required.
