This cache is located in Bass River State Park near. There is a entrance fee from Memorial Day to Labor Day. So get your moneies worth and plan a day of it. There are camping facilities. A lake for fishing and swimming. Playgrounds and lots of trails to explore. Best of all there are quite a few caches nearby.
This particular cache was placed as a temporary cache that was used by some SJG members & the park rangers at a recent event to help introduce geocaching to folks that didn't know about it. The park rangers liked the idea of having a cache right in the midst of the park and asked that it be made an "official cache"
