Geocache Description:

Near the main cache is a huge tree that has been hit by lightning but is still standing even though the trunk is hollow, well worth a look,it seems to defy gravity

Pogles Wood was an old "watch with mother programme" from the sixties which i obviously cant remember ( cough ) and the woodland this cache is in has been called that by locals for as long as i remember.Myself and my good mate Kid Curry along with various other Streetly waifs and strays used to build bonfires and experiment with everything you are not supposed to as 12-15 year olds here ( happy days ),neither of us have grown up and are now in our mid 40s and when we planted this cache it was a real walk down memory lane and i think we were both tempted to get a fire going and crack a couple of cans.
