Gamle hamn var under vikingatid och tidig medeltid en väl skyddad hamn. Numera är hamnen en lång smal insjö, inloppet har stängts av landhöjningen. Hundra meter söder om hamnbassängen ligger lämningarna av S:t Äulas körka eller S:t Olofs kyrka. På en av uddarna i närheten finns ett vackert raukområde. Missa inte rauken ”Kaffepannan” eller ”Hunden” som den också kallas. (Se bild 1)

During the Viking Age and early Middle Age Gamle Hamn (The old harbour) was a well protected harbour. Today the harbour is a long narrow lake, where the entrance has been stopped due to land raising. 100 meter south of the harbour is the remnant of Sct Äulus church or Sct Olof church. On one of the spits close to is a very beautiful rauk-area. Don’t miss the rauk “Kaffepannan” (the Coffeepot) or “Hunden” (the dog), as it also is named. See picture no. 1.
The box contains logbook, pen, mugglerinformation and varius trading things.
