Park at the Parking coordinates. All the trails are marked by
colors with arrows.
At the parking area is the Trail Head for 2 trails, Black and
Blue. I suggest that you take the Black trail in as this will keep
you away from the private property the Blue trail borders and which
has dogs.
You can bushwhack to this cache, but it will be much easier to
let the trails take you to where you want to go.
This is on of those caches where you need to trust common sense
than your GPSr.
While walking around, take in all the wildlife that's
around.
Watch all the different birds including grouse and turkeys.
(Those will wake you up when they flush!!) Once you get to the
bench, sit down, catch your breath and take in the view. While
snowshoeing, I was out here while it was snowing and was just so
peaceful. Even had a few deer walk by.
If you look right, you will see a bird's eye view of the micro
cache, dead on. It is about a couple hundred feet from the
bench.
If the above clue stumps you, there is a stump near by that
holds a small pill bottle with the coordinates for Stage 1.
In the sprit of the challenge, only look for the bottle as a
last resort. Please re-hide it the way you found it. Once you have
found Stage 1, you will have the coordinates and clue for the final
cache. Please re-hide this cache as you found it.
When logging you find, please do not give any hints or clues the
will give the locations away. Your posts will be deleted.
