Geocache Description:

We had breakfast with larry739 last week, and had such a great time that we wanted to invite all of you to come and do the same! If, by chance, you don't know larry739, he is a geocacher who has contributed much to our local geo-community, as well as to the sport in general.

* Geocaching for two years, he has found over 1200 caches and has hidden over 100!!

* He has created several coins, with the ‘Kansas Sunshine’ geocoin being the world’s most widely distributed geocoin!

* His geo-mobile is a green jeep which is also a trackable TB (it will be parked in the lot for YOU to log).

* As a letterboxer, he has hand-carved several beautiful stamps, and created a much-loved series in which he provides a start-up kit to make a stamp of your own.

* He is also responsible for making a 150-mile stretch along I-35 a LOT less boring!

Here's some fun that Larry has planned for the event:
I will bring some coins and also a special treat, a big ammo can with six geocoins glued to the top for people to put something in for a new mystery puzzle cache I plan to place soon. I'll give a Missouri Hawthorn (unactivated) to anyone who brings one or more activated TB's or geocoins to put in the ammo can. People can discover the six geocoins at the event. I bet it will be chucked full of treasure by the time we are done. (We're in!)

I have been busy putting together a new v2 of the Indian Creek Trail Letterbox Series that takes up where the last one leaves off. This includes several additional Letterbox Hybrid caches. I will bring along printed copies of the story to the breakfast and release the cache pages to GC.com for publication AFTER the event. Therefore anyone coming to the breakfast will get first shot at these caches, as letterboxes. This will be a shorter, easier series than the original 12 cache series that starts at ARROW and ends at Harbinger. (Work off those McMuffins!)

I am using the new decon containers like the ones I set out recently along I35. Each cache will have a micro geocoin epoxied to the lid and will have a hand carved letterbox stamp inside for the letterboxers to stamp in their books. We will let the FTFer's fight it out after breakfast if they wish, but the logging of their finds will have to be done later when the caches are activated. How does that sound for fun? (Can't wait!)

I have notified the manager of the McDonald's that I may have 20-30 friends joining me for breakfast that morning and she said "Tráigalos encendido" ["Bring them on"].

Join us for breakfast and geocaching on Saturday, June 23rd at 7:30am!
