Geocache Description:


Fjälegården anlades omkring 100 e Kr och var i bruk fram till 1300-talet.
Gården bränns i slutet av 1300-talet eller i början av 1400-talet. Vem som gjorde det och varför den övergavs är fortfarande en gåta.
Mycket mer information finns på anslagstavlan vid stigen som leder fram till Fjäle ödegård.
Gå gärna den korta turen (vitmarkerade stolpar) runt Fjälängar och bese de olika husgrunderna som finns kvar.
I närheten finns även ”Mallgårds haid”. Ett naturreservat avsett att skydda växten ”alvarstånd”.
Boxen innehåller loggbok, penna, mugglarinfo samt div. Bytessaker.

The "Fjäle Farm" was built around year 100 a.c. and was in use until 1300.
The farm burnt down in the end of 1300 / beginning of 1400. It is still a mystery who did it, and why the farm was abandoned.
There is more information on the notice board by the path, which leads to Fjäle deserted farm.
We recommend that you take the short walk (marked with white poles) round “Fjälänger” and see the different house-foundations, which are left.
In the neighbourhood you find "Mallgårds haid". A nature reserve intended for protection of the plant "Alvarstånd".
The box contains logbook, pen, mugglerinformation and various trading things.
