Veteran's Park Tour of Duty Multi-Cache
ArtieD: I have replaced the final container a couple times now, and with the encroachment of the disc golf circuit here, the final area is no longer viable. Thus, this cache is gone. Thanks to those who have found it.

This multicache will introduce you to some of the nice
features of Veteran's Park. There is
some park road crossing so be careful, especially if you have kids
along.
The coordinates above will lead you to a marker.
Waypoint 1: At this
marker you need to use some of the information on it to make it to
the second waypoint. To get to the second waypoint, you need to
find the last two digits of the year that’s on this marker. Use
these last two digits to complete the following set of
coordinates:
N 38* 51.197 W 091* 56.2__
Waypoint 2: Once you
have reached step two, find the last four digits of the phone
number posted at this location. To get to the third waypoint,
assign each number a letter starting with "A" working up (i.e.,
7302…7 = A, 3 = B, 0 = C & 2 = D) and fill in the gaps in this
set of coordinates:
N 38* 51.BAC W D91* 56.223
Waypoint 3: When you
have reached the third stage, look for a set of three letters
carved in stone to get to the next stage. What you need to do is
add up the total numerical value of the three letters, using this
system: A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, etc. Once you have done this, put the
total number in the blank area of these coordinates to get to the
next stage:

Waypoint 4: At this
stage, count the number of large (at least 1-2’ long) orange-red
rocks used for seating. Put this number in the blank area of these
coordinates to go to step five:
N 38* 51.3__ W 091* 56.162
Waypoint 5: To get to
the final cache (I know…finally, eh?) you need to count the
number of pillars supporting the structure AND find the year listed
on a plaque attached to it.. What you need to do is enter the
number of columns in the blank in this final set of waypoints and
enter the digits of the year in the manner you did at Waypoint
2…like so:
N 3D* 5A.2_C W 0B1* 56.275
From here, it’s an easy walk to the final cache, which is a
camo-taped container.
