Crow's Nest Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Snuva: I thought I'd be able to get here this weekend, but as this doesn't look likely now I'll archive this to open the spot up in case anyone else would like it.

Geocache Description:

Avast me hearties – look out below! What’s that – a bay of pirates? Escaping convicts? Doo-be-doo-be-doo?

This is an easy cache in a nice spot for a leg-stretch on your way towards the Tasman Peninsula and its treasures (caches, I mean, of course!).

Please be stealthy when finding and re-hiding. This is a micro and a pen is recommended if you don’t have a bloodied cutlass on you.

An ‘interesting’ historical note: I actually set this cache 29 January 2006 while I was on a caching trip to the Tasman Peninsula with Mrs Cheesy Pig. I wasn’t entirely happy with the placement as I was a bit worried it would get muggled, so hesitated in listing it. Then Swampy visited the cache and added a plastic bag for me, and for some reason I still sat on it. Mrs Cheesy Pig checked on it again today (8 June 2007), and the cache is still happy and well in its spot. So I think perhaps that's enough time testing this one for muggling, it’s time to list it!

A 'boring' historical note (28 June 2008): the original cache has now gone missing, so I have re-hidden in a new spot. However I did find the magnet from the original cache a few metres from where it had been hidden.
