Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of Parkland Roads caches. It is an easy rural drive-up cache with a view.

Came across this view on the way home from another cache and something about it struck me as particularly nice. There is a scenic drive from the west to the cache, and sunset would be a perfect time to visit this cache site. It’s also a nice motorbike ride, as this is how we placed the cache. Please use the nearby field approach for safe parking. Stealth is required because cars can sneak up on you or see you from a great distance.

ponokapete77's log of 7 Sep 18 informs us that he has "heard that this location is a favorite of the locals to sit up here and watch thunderstorms roll in during the summer months." It does seem like a great spot for that! Thanks, Pete!

UPDATE (SEP '13): This placement has had its problems so it is now a micro and moved slightly. The upside is that it is now winter friendly.
