Wonderful cache located in Roccagloriosa in a very old castle. Update: 30.08.2019 —> Cache is still there! Never give up. Max. 5 Meters behind the church under a Stone 🤗 Update: 28.09.2015 --> The Castle has been renovated over the last 2 years. I not sure if the cache-box is still available at the Castle. Will be able to check this not earlier then 12/2015. Nevertheless i will let this Cache keep activated - Enjoy
After searching several caches all over italy i was very disappointed about the cache quality (sometimes it was necessary to be a professional hill climber to get a "1"-rated cache :-)). Trying out to make it better i posted a cache in a little village called Roccagloriosa. You will get a perfect view on the "Monte Bulgheria" while searching for the little blue box (then yellow in 2009/2010 - and now RED). Inside there are a few little toys out of the "Kinder" surprises. It is possible to park your car below the castle. You must go the last 150m by your own feeds (some stairs!). The last 10 meters are to small for a wheelchair - would be perfect if there someone can get the cache! After all everybody will be rewarded with a great view! 30.09.2009: Visited the cache. Everything is OK! July 2011: restauration is going on around the Castle. Difficult to Access the Cache. Great View is granted! July 2011: there are some restaurations around the Castle. Could Happen that you cannot Access the Cache. However you will have a Great View! 30.08.2010: Visited the cache. Streetworkers towed the cache away. I have put a new one put not on the same place. Three meters away from the old one. View the hint for more details.
