This area at one time was intented to be a nature walk. Paths were graded out and work started on a large portion of the park. Then was discontinued, guess they found another park more to their liking.

Well we have quite a collection of critters, 18 Smelly Skunks, 18 Coyotes Stalking, and 18 Funny Buzzards.
These pesky critters have absconded with the cache and all attempts to ring the correct coordinates out of them has come up with lots of funny answers.

The following answers will give enough information to locate the cache
The Coyote looks at the Skunk and Buzzard as possible lunch.  So he won't be of any help in placing the cages.   The Buzzard says he doesn't care, he would make lunch out of anything.  The Skunk says if they try to eat me LOOK OUT.  So asking these three critters for help may not be of any use.

There are 54 cages where you need to place the critters according to the following rules:

1. No two cages containing the same critter have a common border, corners touching are OK.
2. Every column has three cages of each critter.
3. Alternate cages have a coyote in row 3
4. Cages  B-7 and E-7 are the same critter.
5. Cages A-1, B-8, D-3 and F-4 are Smelly Skunk.
6. Cages A-9, B-5, C-2 and F-7 are Funny Buzzard.
7. Cages A-4, B-1, D-7 and F-5 are the same critter.
8. Cages C-8 and E-1 are the same critter.
9. Critter order of the cages from left to right in row 4 is the same as the cages order of the first 6 cages from top to bottom in column D

Now for the coordinates of the cache. Let B3S mean column B and the third Skunk down. Then go to the left to find a digit. See, that is not hard.

N 31. (E2C)(F3S)(C3B-A2S)(D2S)

W 100. (B3B)(E3C-B2S)(F3S-C2B)[D3S-(A2S+C1C)](D3B-E1S)

We are hearing many complaints about the ridiculous pricing on gasoline and how this will ultimately kill or severly curtail our hobby.  So in this mode we include a program that you may check your answers before firing up and burning more of that $4.00 plus fuel. (and may be over $5 by end of summer)  Course we have some that make snide remarks at the inclusion of a checker.  But some of us are not perfect so if you would like to check yours, feel free to do so, maybe it will save a few gallons and allow you a few extra caching trips.
