Scottsdale Cache is located at a lovely location overlooking Wellington. The cache is a short walk from a 24 hour National Trust Parking Area.
The view from the car park is stunning on a good day. A short walk will take you to the cache which is named Scottsdale Cache because the area on the map is called Scottsdale. No idea why at all. The cache is in the woods and in a normal Cache hiding place.
Due to so many lost in the woods calls, I'm now adding a few more directions. I've changed this to a difficult 3 simply because the wood all looks the same and the GPS is patchy. So - the help for those who want it is as follows. Park at the parking co-ords. Follow the GPS in a straight line and where the path splits into three, take the middle one and go over the style. Go left (downhill) for 60 paces and then take the path on your right. The path immediately splits into 2, take the right hand path. Follow the path to the fallen tree. See spolier photo for even more help!
