This cache is placed to show cachers a new area just waiting for some caches. This is my first ammo can cache so please don't hold that against me. I'll get the hang of it. Please return cache site as good or better camo'd.
I listened to the original “Gunsmoke” on the radio with William Conrad as Matt Dillon and also was in awe of James Arness as Matt on Television. James was a war hero in WWII. He was seriously wounded at the beach landing at Anzio, Italy because probably he stood 6 feet 7 inches tall and made a pretty good target. That is why he had a slight limp on the show. He was the tallest actor to play a lead roll on T. V. He got the part because John Wayne turned it down and recommended him for it. What does this have to do with my cache? Not a thing, but I just found it interesting.
It has been brought to my attention that a log near my cache has bees in it. SINCE THE CACHE IS NOT IN THE LOG, ON THE LOG, UNDER THE LOG OR AT EITHER END OF THE LOG, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM IT UNLESS YOU WANT SOME HONEY. If that's the case, be my guest. Thanks Lostlad for this info.
