Geocache Description:

The Family Crest
Out on the South Holston Sea. Better get ya a boat or be a darn good swimmer.

This is the old Captain Kid (Konnarock, that is) commin' back at ya. Let's go on a swashbuckling adventure matey! The old Captain sometimes don't 'member too good so you got to help me find my latest buried treasure. Arrrgh! It makes me timbers shiver that I can't find all the treasures. All I 'member is that we sunk a British war ship and shot all the sailors and buried them and the booty on Dead Man's Island. Sometime it ain't even an island depending on the tides (lake level).

Me Pet Dog

Anchor your boat on the South end of the island. You'll have ta climb 500 feet to where I think I buried the treasure chest. The place is full of bilge rats from that British Man-O-War and yar gonna do a little bush whackin' 'til you get to the top. Just step over the skeletons and keep on goin' It ain't bad!

You be lookin' for a 4 X 6 X 3 camo-taped Rubbermaid box. Trade up or even or we'll blow ya out of the water! Feel free to count my ship's guns!

Please put everything back as ye found it! Remember, the Jolly Roger is a flyin' and we'll get ya!
