Location:
Cache is a 1 litre Sistema Container located in Queen Elizabeth park between Raumati and Whareroa Stream.
Park is accessible 24 hours, but only open to vehicular traffic between 8am and 6pm.
Directions:
Though there are a number of entrances to this park, visitors to the area would find it easier to enter the park from State Highway One at McKays Crossing (S40 58.210 E174 58.861) and travel the 2kms to the beach carpark.
The cache is at the co-ordinates listed and by taking either the coastal or inland tracks you will get within 15 metres of the cache by staying on the marked track.
The area can be a high muggle area so some stealth is required.
There is a little blackberry to pass to get to cache. If you pick the correct route you should get there unscathed.
Cache initially contained:
Logbook and pencil.
Refresher towelette. Small padlock and keys. AAA battery. Blue stone. Purple star. Small cake of soap. Small bottle of shampoo. Phone jack adaptor. Teelight candle & Small sheep.
When replacing, please ensure cache is not visible.
