Our favourite Sunday arvo walking track.
This multi takes you around a public reserve called The Reef. You pass Homeward Bound Ave the name of the gold reef
due south of Oberon which produced 33 kgs of gold between 1885-1887.Now submerged under the dam.
At the first co-ords you will find a micro with the co-ords for the second location.Just a matter of which hole ////////.
Now from the second loctaion you can go through the gates to access the dam which is currently at record a record low
of 16% as of 9-6-07 to do a spot of fishing.Just remenber to count the number of gates.Big, Small and Total.
This will give you a Three digit number in that order.
Now to the number S33.42.549 add this number
and to the number E149.50.205 take this number away
Please return me to my hiding place as many poeple use this area to walk and enjoy our little place of gold.
It can be walked in less then 40mins or drive from WP1 to WP2, but final GZ needs to walked to.
