Geocache Description:


Logie Buchan bridge was built as a war memorial to the men of the Parish of Logie Buchan killed in the first world war. The bridge crosses the river Ythan and replaced a ferry at the same point. The ferryman's cottage lies across the river and the pilings of the old piers can still be seen. The bridge is now closed to traffic.
