Geocache Description:

A short hike off the beaten path to swap gardening materials and admire a hidden oddity.

I came across this little curio while getting delightfully lost during a cache quest in the Don Valley early this Spring. I duly marked the waypoint with a mind to watch its progress and maybe place a cache. Somehow I misplaced the coordinates and had to search for it all over again. The lush vegetation that replaced the snow and ice of my last visit made it tricky but I succeeded.

The intent of this cache (apart from bringing you to this place) is to provide somewhere to exchange seeds, bulbs, rhizomes and small gardening paraphernalia. Please label any products of your own garden. I'm not going to be a stickler about its contents but I reserve the right to relocate items to nearby Stolen Loot (GCH0D1). Parking may be found at Todmorden Mills along with trash and recycling bins for your CITO efforts. Although this cache is available during winter, care should be taken as the trails may become quite icy. A camouflaged 1.2l Lock & Lock container awaits you originally containing:

- Log Book with 3 golf pencils
- Pocket Gear "The Gardener" for FTF
- Bulbo pencil sharpener
- 3 Aimers seed packets

Please ensure nothing obstructs the seal when replacing the lid.

**WARNING** Fire ants have an established colony somewhere nearby and are always present during the spring/summer months. Wear appropriate footwear and try to avoid staying in one spot for too long.
