Geocache Description:

The CITO will take place at one of Effingham County's Boat
Landings, Tuckasee King.

Sunday Afternoon
July 8, 2007
2:00pm to 3:30pm

Please come out and help clean this little part of our environment. We will clean litter from the boat landing and the park.

Tuckasee King boat landing is located on the banks of the Savannah River in Clyo, Georgia.

I will provide trash bags. Water and soda will also be provided thanks to a very generous cacher.

Suggested additonal items that you may wish to bring are sunscreen, bug spray, garden gloves, pick up tools and water.

The water here is nice and easy, so anyone who has a canoe or kayak, feel free to bring it to help clean up along the banks of the river.

Please park near the back of the Tuckasee King Park (behind the swings and picnic shelter) which is about 500 feet from the boat landing. The park is located at N 32.31.866, W 081.16.575. There is limited parking space at the boat landing and I'd like to keep that space available for boaters coming to enjoy the landing.

There is a multi-micro cache, Early Baptists at Tuckasee King by
Ertman110 - GCKMC8, very nearby for an extra quick smiley while you are here helping clean up.

Update: There will be prizes for the first few geocachers to arrive for CITO. I have a few Garmin baseball caps, 2X tee shirts, medium tee shirts and bumper stickers. Just a little added incentive to CITO.
