M.A.J. Traditional Cache

This is my first attempt at placing a cache- bring your own pencil!
UPDATE 18OCT09: After a slight hiatus, we are back in action thanks to fellow cachers!
UPDATE: 13APR13: just wanted to say thanks to all my fellow cachers for not only keeping this cache alive- but to those thankful for the service of myself, my father and ALL veterans. Keep up the great work, and never stop caching!!!
My father served in the Air Force for a few years before I was born. He always loved nature, and this cache is just a little stop and find in an area that is rapidly losing it's 'small town' charm. I grew up here and watched it blow up from a town where everyone knew everyone to a having a super Wal-mart and soon to be more!... I miss the days of riding my bike around town, canoeing and camping with my father and being a kid.
i'll have family take care of this cache in my absence. while the don't get into geocaching- they always support family.
My father passed away in 1994, and he keeps watch eternally from within 50 feet of this cache- the caches name "M.A.J." are his initials, and if you're clever enough to spot him, feel free to pay your respect to him, and the rest of the vet's who keep him company!
note: jtbrady01 noted the yellow veteran marker sticker, as well as the bronze plate. As a fellow veteran I think they should all have much more than a sticker/plate... but i thank you jtbrady for stopping in and paying some notice :) happy hunting all!
