Geocache Description:

Located along busy Route 3 in Trenton. This will be a quick grab and go available year-round (snow banks in the winter). This is a regular sized cache with a smaller log holder inside.

(The description differs slightly from the original due to recent cache modifications. Please leave the bird and nest in the cache for others to enjoy, thanks!)

This was my first "Snipe Hunt" cache with others to follow. Each will be a bird to find with a particular theme or purpose. I remember as a very young Boy Scout being sent out at night on a snipe hunt. Snipes don't really exist, but we were told that snipes were birds that like to hide and that we would have to flush them out by banging on trees with sticks and making a great deal of noise. We must have been quite the sight, out there banging on trees. Well, little did I know that these birds would some day come back and be useful to me! Come say Hi to GEOrge. GEOrge is sitting on the nest while guarding the cache. The logbook is in the swag container. Thank you to the new owners of the building for giving permission to place this cache here!
