Geocache Description:

Located in Upper Falls area near the Coal River. The area is officially known these days as Tornado.

I placed this cache at the location of my favorite past time. Flying radio controlled aircraft at the Mountaineer Radio Control Flying Club. For detailed instructions on getting to the field, you can visit our very outdated website at www.mountaineer-rc.com.

You can usually find flyers there starting around noon on Sat. and Sun. until mid to late afternoon as well as some evenings. No need to worry about mugglers on this one. All the members know about it and roughly where they are located.

When people aren't flying you will find a locked gate. If the gate is open drive on in to the parking lot. You can park by the gate, just don't block it. Just pull over to the right. It is a short walk to part one. This is a daylight only cache.

All the parts are behind the safety fence. No need to walk into the pit area when flyers are present. All three parts are within a stones throw of each other and you will find the coordinates at each place to lead you to the next.

If you happen to be out when folks are flying, enjoy the show and don't be afraid to asks questions if you interested in the hobby.
