A 30 cal ammo can hidden near mile marker 3 on the Tuxachanie Trail.
One in a series of caches hidden along the Tuxachanie trail. If you want peace in the south Mississippi woods, this is the place. It’s QUIET out here!
This cache is about 3 miles from the Hwy. 49 trailhead. For a shorter hike, you might want to park at Airey Lake and come in from the east; only about 2 miles that way.
P.S. (and a hat-tip to Leftygator and the kayakingtwilbecks, some of the early finders): Bring water, especially if doing more than one cache on the Tuxachanie Trail. And on hot summer days, it’s a good idea to bring a friend along too.
