Geocache Description:

Just off Likely Road by a stocked fishing lake.

Just a little fishing lake with reportedly Rainbow and Brook Trout. The lake is stocked and with support of the the Habitat Conservation Fund this lake is artificially circulated through the winter. The oxegenated water enables stocked fish to successfully survive over winter. But for this reason there can be thin ice during the winter so ice fishing may not be advised. It appears that you need a boat to fish there - but no gas motors, electric only or paddles would be fine. The cache is a micro but easy to find with coordinates and not far from the parking area close to the lake. Follow coordinates, look for poplar tree that is growing crooked (12 feet in the air) cache is at ground level. Bring your own pencil, initial paper and log your find on site. Upgraded cache to a small. Still a penny cache which means you could add a penny or other coin. Total in old container was $3.66 (not all pennies) pretty good! Now room for more pennies and small items. Contains: New log book, old log book in bag (23 logs in it!), 4 mini dinasaurs, 1 pencil, 1 pen, 3 hearts and 1 penny ofcourse. Please rehide well so cache continues!
