Located off of a main pathway and into the woods
The cache is in a lovely location in the Hasting Country Park. Known as the Firehills by the locals due to the number of gorse fires occuring in the height of summer - although we've never seen any!! Its unspoilt sandstone cliffs tumble down to the sea, broken only by gorse and tree-covered glens. It is a fine vantage point from which could once be seen 70 martello towers, 66 churches, 40 windmills, 5 castles and 3 bays! If you have a kite, bring it along as the hills are fantastic for kite flying if the wind is up and there is plenty of free parking.
