Alsume’s twelfth cache is the third of a series of six caches placed along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail. This series of caches runs starts in Strathmore and finishes near Roxburgh Park. There is also a bonus cache for those who complete the series of six caches. There are clues for the coordinates of the bonus cache in each of six caches. The series is designed to be done by bike, although some, but not all, of the caches are accessible from nearby streets without too long a walk. The length of the ride from MPCT #1 to MPCT # 6 is approximately 12km each way.
This cache is placed quite close to a nice BBQ area, so if you need a break, this could be the spot. If the BBQ is already taken, don’t worry there is another BBQ and playground a short distance further down the trail.

The cache is a small cylindrical container, approx 200 ml, camouflaged to blend into its surroundings. It is suitable for only small swaps.
There is no pen, so please bring your own.
