Geocache Description:

Welcome to the first N.S.W. cache by Team Ladava

Just a short walk from our N.S.W. base, Yer-ong is located in what appears to be a holding area in the stock-route.
We delight in Geocaching with our grandchildren and our six rear old granddaughter has renamed the etrex the ‘treasure-phone’. Our four year old grandson has a simple instruction, “Pa, you just follow the arrow”.
For this cache, we cannot improve on their advice of ‘follow the arrow on the treasure-phone’
You are looking for a 500ml cylindrical container with a range of treasures.
Beware, after heavy rain the terrain rating will increase significantly even by the alternative approach route.
Our thanks to baby&Mrs gopher for keeping an eye on this cache.

Certainly changed from when we placed it in 2007.
The tree has gone but the local farmer has kindly re-hidden the container nearby
Rather a nice gesture for a non cacher.

Mrs Gopher provided the image in the link below of cattle being driven down the stock route through the creek crossing.
