Il Rio
Gresta ( la Ri ) nasce alle sorgenti della "Siora" presso Ronzo,
percorre tutta l'omonima valle, e confluisce nel Rio Cameras,
vicino a Loppio, che sfocia direttamente nel fiume Adige. Questo
Rio supera un grande dislivello in pochi chilometri, ed è per
questo caratterizzato da salti e rapide.
La cache è stata posta alla base di una di queste per far conoscere
uno dei passaggi più belli di questo corso d'acqua, che forse
nemmeno gli abitanti dei paesini vicini conoscono.
Purtroppo negli anni addietro anche questo rio ( come molti altri ) è
stato utilizzato abusivamente, come discarica, dai valligiani.
Fortunatamente qualche anno fa è stato parzialmente
"bonificato".
NB: Si accede da una curva secca della provinciale n°88 che da
Loppio sale a Ronzo Chienis.
Lasciata la macchina nei pressi della curva ( parcheggiare prima o
dopo a fianco della strada: porre attenzione per la poca
visibilità ) si accede alla valletta dalla sinistra orografica del
rio. Superato il ponte romanico su cui correva la vecchia strada,
procedere 20-30 metri sul prato in salita, poi inoltrarsi nel fitto
bosco e scendere nella valletta ( porre molta attenzione a non
scivolare ). Una volta arrivati al fiume percorrerlo verso monte per
20-30 metri fino alla cascata.
NBB: Si consigliano scarponi e pantaloni lunghi per la difficoltà
tecnica e le varie insidie del percorso. Insomma non andate come ha
fatto uno dei componenti del team vestito da ciclista con le
scarpette con tacchetti ... è da suicidio.

The “Rio
Gresta” ( la Ri ) born to the sources of the "Siora" at Ronzo, covers
all the homonymous valley, and it converges in the “Rio Cameras”,
near Loppio, which directly results in the Adige river. This brook
exceeds a big difference of level in few kilometers, and is
characterized by jumps and rapids for this. The cache was placed in
the base of one of these to have one of the most beautiful passages
of this course of water, which maybe neither the near inhabitants

brook ( as many others ) was abusively used, as dump, by the men.

NB: The access is from a 90° curve of the provincial n ° 88 which
from Loppio rises in Ronzo Chienis. Parking the car before or later
alongside of the road, near the curve: ( place attention for the
little visibility ). Then access in the “valletta” from the left
orographic of the brook. Outdated the Romanesque bridge on which
the old road was running, proceed 20-30 meters on the lawn in
slope, then penetrate in the thick wood and get down in the
“valletta” ( place a lot of attention not to slip ). Once arrived to
the river cover it towards mountain for 20-30 meters up to the
waterfall. NBB: Boots and long trousers are recommended for the
technical difficulty and the various dangers of the way. In other

Der „Rio Gresta” ( la Ri ), der an den Quellen der „Siora” in Ronzo entspringt, durchfließt das gesamte gleichnamige Tal und mündet in der Nähe von Loppio in den „Rio Cameras”, der direkt in die Etsch mündet. Dieser Bach überwindet auf wenigen Kilometern einen großen Höhenunterschied und zeichnet sich daher durch Sprünge und Stromschnellen aus. Der Cache wurde am Fuße eines dieser Wasserfälle platziert, um eine der schönsten Passagen dieses Wasserlaufs zu bieten, die vielleicht nicht einmal die Bewohner der umliegenden Dörfer kennen. Leider wurde auch dieser Bach ( wie viele andere ) in den vergangenen Jahren von Menschen missbräuchlich als Müllhalde genutzt. Glücklicherweise wurde er vor einigen Jahren teilweise „zurückgewonnen”.
NB: Der Zugang erfolgt über eine 90°-Kurve der Provinzstraße Nr. 88, die von Loppio nach Ronzo Chienis führt. Parken Sie das Auto vor oder hinter der Kurve am Straßenrand ( achten Sie auf die schlechte Sicht ). Dann gelangen Sie von der linken Seite des Baches in die „Valletta”. Hinter der romanischen Brücke, über die die alte Straße führte, geht es 20-30 Meter auf der abfallenden Wiese weiter, dann in den dichten Wald hinein und hinunter in die „Valletta” ( sehr vorsichtig sein, um nicht auszurutschen ). Am Fluss angekommen, geht es 20-30 Meter bergauf bis zum Wasserfall. NBB: Aufgrund der technischen Schwierigkeiten und der verschiedenen Gefahren auf dem Weg werden Stiefel und lange Hosen empfohlen. Mit anderen Worten: Machen Sie es nicht wie eines der Teammitglieder, das in Radlerkleidung und Schuhen mit Haken unterwegs war ... das ist Selbstmord.
