I can find it...canoe? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

In a small park along the Yahara River.

NOTE: PLEASE REHIDE THIS WELL AND DISTURB THE AREA AROUND THE CACHE AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. tHIS CACHE HAS ALREADY BEEN MUGGLED ONCE. PLEASE HELP KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN BY LEAVING THE AREA AROUND IT LOOKING AS NATUAL AND UNDITURBED AS POSSIBLE. THANKS! HAVE FUN!

This cache is named what it is since this is a very popular canoe launch spot in the summer. You can travel downstream to the rock river and if you turn right there you can travel to Janesville, WI...about a 4 hour trip without paddling too hard. Remind me sometime to tell you about the time my boss not only tipped her canoe over a short ways downstream from the bridge, but LOST the canoe and had to walk back through the brush. The canoe was later recovered downstream from the hwy. M bridge in Fulton. It still makes me laugh every time I think of it!

Anyway this is a 50 caliber ammo box that should not be too hard to find. I just wanted to get you to this little park you may have missed until now, not keep you searching forever and a day!
