Geocache Description:

A decon container containing a logbook, pencil, and a few small trade items. Easily accessible, although muggles are around a fair bit.

Every time I drive by the small town of Spencer, ID, I think of my brother... who happens to be named Spencer as well. I'm sure that he'll make a trip this far north sometime in the future, so I'm placing this cache for him to be able to find it next time he's caching this far north. Please watch for muggles. You can park your car in a strategic location to help hide yourself from the muggles if needed...

On the trip where I placed this cache, I decided to head across the freeway and up the route of old US 91, all the way to Monida just over the Montana border. If you're headed north and have some time to kill, you might want to take the time to go up this stretch. It's a little bit slower, but much more scenic. There's also a couple of caches you can grab along the route. It mostly parallels the Interstate but is definately not a modern road. Most of this stretch is paved, but there is some gravel. To find this route, go to the west side of the freeway exit and follow the frontage road north - it's really old US91, except where they had to reconstruct the road because of the freeway.
