Lizzie Borden took an axe And gave her mother forty whacks. And when she saw what she had done, She gave her father forty-one.
This cache is located in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fall River. This cache has two stages. The first stage has nothing to do with Lizzie Borden but we thought it was a very interesting grave marker. Even though you could technically skip this one if you knew where Lizzie's grave is the grave marker here is worth seeing. The best way to enter for the first stage is via the Prospect st entrance and bear to the right.
When you arrive at the first set of coords you will need the following information: F.H. Stafford Died in the year 18cd Foster M (Son) Died in the year 18ab Stage 2 Coords: N41 42.4ab W071 08.2cd This will lead you to arrows painted on the ground. These will lead you to Lizzie Borden's grave and the grave of her family. You will need to upload a picture of your GPS unit next to Lizzie's Grave stone (optional but recommended). While Visiting the Borden plot you will need the year of Birth and Death of Andrew Jackson Borden's 1st Wife Sarah Birth Year 18cb Year of Death 18a3 Final Coords: N41 42.4a1 W 071 08.4bc Please have respect and do not disturb anything while attempting this cache.
The nano/micro is located just outside the cemetery in an area that will not disturb anything. You do not have to move anything to get to the cache. Please replace exactly as found. Cemetery closes at 8pm and all gates will be locked! Do not get stuck inside! Please DO NOT post "needs maintenance" logs unless the paper log is full or the cache container is broken.
