The cache is not at the above location – read on
K8 and Company were fiddling about under the lino where we discovered an old newspaper (see picture).>
We were intrigued by the story relating to the bushranger “Lightning Dan”, so we ripped up more lino and discovered another 4 papers with articles describing his adventures and misfortunes.
Further inquiries have revealed that “Lightning Dan” hid the strong box (mentioned in the newspaper) containing the sawmill payroll and marked its location .
However to prevent the co-ords falling into the wrong hands, he cut them into 4 pieces and placed a piece at each of the significant events, outlined in forthcoming newspaper articles.
To find the location of this cache, you must first find the location of each significant event as described in the next 4 editions of “The Weekly Punctilio” which have been published as the “Bushranger” series. (GC13R2E), (GC13Y20), (GC1427X) & (GC1456W)
Each of the 4 caches in the bushranger series, contain a piece of the co-ords, needed to locate the strong box (cache) hidden by “Lightning Dan”
While it may not be necessary to do the caches in publication order, it is advisable to read the weekly Punctilios in order prior to doing a cache.
