The cache is located beside an established footpath. The walk will be muddy in winter. There are some slopes to walk up and down but nothing too steep.
Thundersley Glen is 25 acres of open parkland, mature oaks, coppiced woodland and dense scrub. The trees and clearings reveal clues to woodland clearance, farming and coppicing.
The Glen was once part of a much larger wood belonging to the Manor of Jervis Hall. By the nineteenth century much of this woodland had been destroyed.
There is limited parking exactly opposite the entrance to Thundersley Glen and in some of the surrounding roads. The coords for the entrance are N51 33.698' E000 34.855. Parking will depend largely on day of week and time of day.
