Geocache Description:

The werneth low trail is a set of caches placed in werneth low country park.The caches are placed in locations that should give some nice views of the local area and the hills beyond.

There are car parks dotted around,including the visitors centre on higham lane.There are toilets and refreshments available here on saturdays sundays and tuesdays,at other times you could always call at the hare and hounds pub on the top of werneth low.The trail is designed to be safe for children and the paths are good all year round but they are gravel and can be hilly.It is possible to take a pram around most of the caches but it is hard going in places,and some caches are just off the paths.The caches are placed so they can be reached easily by path,but if you choose to leave the beaten track sensible footwear is recomended.
All caches should have a pencil,but please take your own just in case
There is space here to park a few cars,this is a good spot to start/finish the trail
