Another cache along Highway 141. During prohibition, Templeton
supplied Al Capone with the best corn mash. Many a tall tale exist
about the making and moving of the local rye. In fact, some of the
headstones in the Templeton cemetary were used to hide the rye from
the authorities.
Recently, a group has resurrected the original receipe of the
rye. I have a bottle from the first batch. My dad has a bottle from
the very first barrel.
