Geocache Description:

A "graveyard" on the way to Silver Lake

On my first hike up to Silver Lake I came across this grove of aspens, many of which were dead, and it left a very distinct impression with me. I was all alone on the trail; it was eerily quiet and I was struck by the images surrounding me. I just knew that when I returned I needed to bring a cache along.  Well, I returned to the mountain just a few days later with an ammo can and placed it in the spot I had picked out on my previous visit.  Enjoy.
