Geocache Description:

Final stage is a regular size lock-n-lock. Terrain rating applies to last 150 feet, which is off-trail; otherwise the terrain could be rated 1.

Abbot Park is located on Abbot/Chandler Road, across from the East Lansing Aquatic Center. There is a small gravel parking lot, with immediate access to the paved Northern Tier trail. This park is very popular with joggers and walkers- stealth could be required. The park is also accessible from the East Lansing Soccer Center. If you have an hour between games, this could be the perfect way to spend it! But please don't bring the entire team!

This is not a difficult cache, for a multi. Don't read the hint unless you don't enjoy a challenge. Stage 1 is located on the Northern Tier bike Trail in East Lansing. It was originally a micro container, but that was muggled or proved troublesome a few times. Now, the coordinates will take you to a plaque, where the final coordinates can be calculated using information below. Stage 2 was originally placed very close to a highly utilized trail. Due to excessive muggling, it's been relocated to a new location that will hopefully be muggle-proof. The easiest approach to Stage 2 is from the east.

The paved portion of the Northern Tier trail can be followed until your GPSr has you enter the woods from the east (heading west). The stages are about 1/4 mile apart, and still a relatively easy and hopefully enjoyable walk.

Simple calculations are now required to find the final coordinates.

Given: N42 46.ABC W084 29.DEF

The last digit of the 10-digit phone number on the plaque = A

The number value of the first letter in the name of the company mentioned on the plaque = B

The 6th digit of the 10-digit phone number on the plaque = C

The last digit of the Bridge ID # = D

The first digit of the Bridge ID # = E (NOT a trick question)

The fifth digit of the Bridge ID # = F

Good luck! Happy caching!
