This is my first multi-cache and like my other caches, has at least one component with a military theme.
This cache takes you on a quest for a number of lesser known monuments in the area. They celebrate a life cut short or someone who contributed.
Needless to say that the cache is not located at the starting coordinates. You will need reliable transport, a couple of hours and a compass ( as well as your trusty GPS).
The first location is close to my home coordinates and is a memorial to someone who went to the same school as I.
When was she born as DD/MM/YYYY = AB/CD/EFGH

Record the year he commenced his civic duty as: I J K L
Then travel to: S 12 (D-B) D . I (L-H) K / E 130 K J . J G F
Note the day of the month killed as M N.
Go now to: S 12 (N-M) G . C A L / E 130 (K+H) C . (N+E) (M+H) (D+M)
Note how many planes attacked as P Q R
The final location is at: S12 P D . (B+N) R (N+Q) / E 130 (D-M) A . F H (K+N)
At this location count how many red characters appear and multiply by 2. This is the number of paces that you have to walk on bearing H L D.
