Geocache Description:

Part of the Film Buffoon series, an 8 mile countryside walk around Baldock.

Film Buffoon - Return of the Jedi

"I see you have constructed a new GPS receiver. Your skills are complete, indeed you are powerful as the Emperor has foreseen...."

The second stop on the Film Buffoon circuit, you're looking for a large lock'n'lock style tub, plenty of room for swaps and TBs.

When I surveyed the locations for this series, there was a satellite dish in the distance, right next to the "Watership Down" cache. Whenever I saw it, it reminded me of the shield generator dish on Endor in Return of the Jedi. When I came to place the cache, the dish had gone! But as the dish winds up getting destroyed in the film, it still works as a title, no?

Don't forget to collect another code letter for the bonus cache, it is glued to the underside of the box lid

About the Film Buffoon series

This series is intended as a scenic 8 mile circular walk in the countryside near Baldock. It is mainly on footpaths and bridleways, with plenty of off-the-lead opportunities for your canine companions.

I suggest parking at the coords for "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and completing the caches anti-clockwise in the order listed below. You tend to be facing the views in that direction, and it also means that for the multi caches, you won't need to double back.

Aside from the bonus, each of the caches stand alone and can be found separately if you're not up to the full circuit.

Also note that if you attempt this on a hot day, be sure to take plenty of drinks with you as most of the route has little shade, and there are no shops or pubs en route!
