Jack's Good Dolphin Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

PinkDolphin: While this is a great place in times of drought, it seems the area is prone to flooding as such I have decided to archive this one. Many thanks to D2G for picking up the container.

Once upon a time there was an Cachemaster named Jack who owned an Evil Seed Cache (GCMVHP). The idea was to take a seed, plant it else were and spread the evil. Somehow a good and kind dolphin wound up in this container of evil. One day while Jack was adding new seeds to this container the dolphin slipped out without his immediate notice. She knew she would in trouble once Jack discovered she was missing so she sought refuge and a good place to hide, a nice safe place where would be protected from the evil. Knowing Jack would likely send out search expeditions for her she had to be cleaver in her choice of places to hide.

She searched high and low for a hiding spot, but so many of the good spots were already taken. Finally, she found a place, although there isn’t much water there now at times there may be nearby. She is well protected by many trees and pants of the typical North Carolina variety.

This is a small dolphin, and there is room for some small trade items. Among the typical variety of SWAG already included is a small NCGO cache container. If you pick this one up it is requested you hide it as a GOOD DOLPHIN cache in a fun place. One of Dflye’s TB coins is also in the cache, it was being held hostage, and he met the terms of the ransom, so it is being released back into the wild.

There are many walking tails in the area but since many of them are loops she is hoping it will throw Jack and his team of searchers off just a bit. The trails have peaceful names, this one is located at the junction of Hickory Hollow and Willow Way.

Please be sure to read the RULES for finding this cache before you attempt to locate it.

1. Dolphins prefer to bushwhack as little as possible
2. Reading the trail map might help
3. No longer in the obvious spot because it floods
4. The correct trail will take you right to this cache.

With the move of this little dolphin you will need to bring your own pen. The one in the container bled all over the original logbook and the one I brought to replace it did not fit in the container.

While in the park check out the other 3 caches if you have time.
