This is your chance to relive the wild west. It is a standoff between the Edison Cowboys and the Mono Indians. The two adversaries have made camps on opposite sides of the road near Edison lake. In these parts it always comes down to who owns the water rights.
The "Mono Indians" and the "Edison Cowboy" are both ammo box caches. A special rule applies to these caches you may take a souvenir from each cache without leaving anything.
These are "kid friendly" caches.
On your way up to the battle field, you can also visit a genuine Mono Indians campfire at N 37 22.431 W 119 00.547
These caches are located at 7785 feet elevation on the paved road to Edison Lake. This road is closed by snow from November to May each year.
Happy hunting!
