This is your chance to relive the wild west. It is a standoff between the Edison Cowboys and the Mono Indians. The two adversaries have made camps at opposite sides of the road at Edison Lake. In these parts it always comes down to who owns the water rights.
The "Mono Indians" and the "Edison Cowboys" are both ammo box caches. A special rule applies to these caches you may take a souvenir from each cache without leaving anything.
These are "kid friendly" caches
.
The Edison Cowboys picked this site because of its easy access to the launch ramp where they keep their boats. It also has a genuine outhouse so they can take care of their business.
This cache is located on a paved road at Edison Lake, elevation 7720 feet. The road is closed from November to May because of snow. It only about 200 feet from the outhouse to the cache.
Happy hunting!
