Geocache Description:

This cache is a 5 point Multi cache in the Willard Brook State Forest. With a litle puzzle to make things more fun. Parking can be found in Townsend at a gate on Route 119 directly across from the Willard Brook State Forest headquarters (N42 40.399 W71 46.352),or in Ashby on Fort Hill Road (N 42 39.654 W 071 47.043) It is a nice hike with a short length of the trail following the brook you mite be tempted to get your feet wet (go for it) this water can be very cold and your feet will love it.

WP-1 is across from the trail head from there you will need to follow the blue blazes to the other WPS once you find WP-1 you will have some coordinates they need to be adjusted. To do this you will have to know when Ashby, Ma. Was established take that year divide it by 100 and add it to the given coordinates now you know were to find WP-2. When (if) you find WP-2 you will also need to adjust the coordinates. To do this you will need to know when Townsend, Ma. was established take that year and divide it by 100 and subtract it from the given coordinates now off to find WP-3. When (if) you find WP-3 you will now have the coordinates for WP-4 no adjustments required. When (if) you find WP-4 you will have the coordinates for WP-5 the final cache. When you leave WP-4 to go for the final stay on the trail the distance to next will go up some for a short time but that will change soon (do not bushwhack the ¼+ mile it is not easy) The adjustments need to be made to both longitude and latitude Moms and Dads let the kids do the math it will be much easier for you that way and it could save you several miles on your feet. The trail from wp-1 to wp-2 you do have an option to bear right a short ways in and follow the brook back to the blue blazed trail (WP-2) a short section is very off camber but is a nicer hike beyond that. Please have fun with this one.I will add more hints later if cachers are having difficulty finding WPS.I know GPSR can be jumpy in this area. Please email me if you need help or would like a bigger hint
