fwrestler: They changed my world and are not changing it back. Mostly that means the new park sign is not conducive to installing a quality cache, so we are looking for a new possibility.

A relatively simple cache to draw you into Marshalltown's Riverview Park.
Since adopting this cache, I have moved it about 10 feet farther from the road to save you from prying eyes. But I have also changed the cache container to a different style, something I have not seen in this area. So it's almost a new cache! If you have already found it before June 2017, feel free to find it one more time.
Oh, and you might ignore most of the old logs.
The City of Marshalltown has 25 parks maintained through the Parks & Recreation department (click the related webpage). Riverview Park features buildings and picnic shelters, campgrounds, several playgrounds; a tennis court, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a dog park, access to the Iowa River; access to the hard-surfaced Linn Creek Recreational Trail that continues eight miles west to the Grimes Farm Nature Trail; beautiful flower gardens and 18 holes of disc golf. It also has several geocaches. This cache has been placed with permission from the Marshalltown Park & Recreation Department.
