Geocache Description:

A small cache, well camoed large pill bottle with logbook and writing stick. Honour the camo when re-hiding, please rehide exactly as found, this is known to be a high muggle area.

This spot is now the site of a "Dry Hydrant", a year-round source of river water for local firefighters.
Around these parts, this spot is known as "The Island", although in anyone's recent memory, it hasn't been one!

The shore of the small bay immediately south of here is the site of the former "Milton Aerated Water Works", makers of several flavours of Gasified (carbonated) waters, the Victorian ancestor of our modern Soda Pop. The bottles were of an expensive, handmade type called Cobb Bottles, which contained a marble as part of the sealing system, making them fair game for kids of the day, who broke the bottles for the marbles. Because of this, any bottle remaining intact today can fetch a good price on the collector market.
